The WMC currently uses two flying sites that have been in use for several years. The Parker Rd. site and the Ridge Dr. site are identified on the accompanying map, which may be downloaded. Contestants are advised to contact the contest director before leaving for any competition to see which site is in use. All contests have signs posted to direct you to the correct site.
To access the Parker Rd. site, take exit 228 from I-5 and turn East on Hwy 34E. Turn South (right) on Seven Mile Lane (about .6 miles East of I-5). Follow Seven Mile Lane approximately one mile. Turn East (left) onto Tangent Dr. and travel about one mile to Parker Rd. Turn South (right) on Parker Rd. Follow the road to the flying site, whose entrance is on the left.
To access the Ridge Dr. site, take exit 228 from I-5 and turn East on Hwy 34E. Turn South (right) on Seven Mile Lane (about .6 miles East of I-5). Follow Seven Mile Lane approximately 3.5 miles. Turn East (left) onto Ridge Dr. and travel about .75 mile to the flying site, whose entrance is on the left.
